The Storybarn invites families from across the North West to join the storytelling fun in the heart of Calderstones Park with two brand new experiences that cater for all ages.
In a new session carefully crafted for little ones, The Storybarn welcomes families with children under four to Incy Wincy Rhymers for classic tales, family favourites and nursery rhymes every Friday. With storytelling, sing-a-longs, creative play and take-home crafts, the 70-minute Incy Wincy Rhymers session will also include a tea or coffee for accompanying adults.
Incy Wincy Rhymers sessions run every Friday at 10am, 12noon and 2pm. Tickets are £3 per person and available to book now at www.thestorybarn.org.uk. Children under 12 months go free.
With exciting new stories and new adventures for children aged three to eight and their families, The Storyhunters Take Flight builds on the success of the indoor / outdoor experience launched with Spring Stories earlier this year. Families will become Storyhunters as they take to the skies in The Storybarn’s magical hot air balloon, joining the hunt for stories of all shapes and sizes such as Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise and The Great Paper Caper.
Part interactive theatre, part literature based experience, The Storyhunters Take Flight sessions combine stories, songs and crafting activities with an outdoor exploration of the surrounding park. Sessions run every Saturday and Sunday at 10am, 12noon, 2pm and 4pm.
Tickets for The Storyhunters Take Flight are £4 per person and are available to book now at www.thestorybarn.org.uk. Younger siblings under 12 months go free.
